I'm glad to see they're getting recognition, but ya think it took long enough?

It is ridiculous. Our county wide Veteran's Day parade always has a bunch of Vietnam Vets and they are aways cheered and clapped for! Standing ovations and everything. Sure we have 15 high school bands marching, but you know what, this is not about them. It is about the Veterans. I try not to miss it, and go out of my way to thank any of them I can at the parade, esp. the Nam vets.
