You are correct he will never be forgotten, and he is a true here for the article stated that he was previously was awarded a Bronze Star, Purple Heart, five Army Commendation Medals, four Army Achievement Medals and three National Defense Service Medals.
It would also appear that the President showed some ( "cojones ferreas") or pelotas de acero. at last for , staying away from the Washington debate and focused on the story of what happened on June 21, 2006, when Monti died during a firefight in Gowardesh, Afghanistan,

Now Brother
May the road rise up to meet you,
May the sun be always at your back,
And until we meet again Jared,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
