I saw this movie today, starring Jeff Bridges, and I have to say it's one of the best I've seen in a while. I don't believe I ever saw the entire version of the original with John Wayne, so I can't compair them.
I do highly recommend seeing this one though. I enjoyed it from start to finish. No scenes that are totally unbelieveable, so that in itself is different. Some humor throughout the movie also. Very good from start to finish.

I did watch the new one and it was very enjoyable.
