I am in Spanish 2 right now but dont feel like I am learning anything.

I really only know the curse words... That is from hearing my in laws, it is funny because they for the most part dont know that I am taking spanish and they like to gossip in front of me so I will know what they are saying now, the problem is they talk way toooo fast and loud. I know when they are talking about me because they call me whita slang for white girl.

If you need any help let me know I can translate basically anything you need. But it might be a lil different I learned a different spanish than what they taught in high school and College. The one that they teach in high school is Spanglish. But if you need any help holla atcha gurl.

Sorry about the spelling. As I said, the counting is what I remember. Also, in college we learned Spain spanish (as opposed to Latin American) and no college would ever teach Spanglish. That's like teaching pig Latin.

Amy that is quite a bit in such a lil time. WHy you trying to cram in 2 mths?

Because I got to college online and each class is only 2 mo long and I take two classes at a time in May I move to 3 classes at a time so I can be graduated by Nov. And I work full time so things have been pretty crazy for the last 3 years.

My major is in accounting and I too hate math but I love money!!! I feel relieved that I am coming down the home stretch. We can use our books for almost all assignments minus the final exam which is an oral exam so there is not time to look anything up or even get my hubby to tell me the answers so I have about 2 weeks to learn Spanish before then. I have been listening to my CD's that came with my book on the way to and from work. Anyone driving by probably thinks I am crazy.

Now that you have more free time and are not getting Derek squared away you should have not problem. Yeah fianance was not one of my favorites. All I have left after this is my core Accounting classes I guess I am a dork becuase these are fun to me. But I am not the atypical accountant. It will all be worth it in the end. I did things a little backwards going to the Marines first but I am glad I did because now it means so much more to me than had I went right out of HS. I actually care what my GPA is probably because I am paying for it.

I have taken both and I get more out of the online I guess becuase I am self driven and dont need that constant follow up I can learn a lot by myself. Most of which I already know from doing accounting for 10 years so I just need the stupid peice of paper. I still have professors and we still have lectures and interaction. It is just so much easier to go home get stuff squared away work out, cook dinner and then put on my comfy clothes and sit down and go to school or do my homework. Plus I cant afford to quit work.... wish I could... should have married better but oh well. So this allows me to get a 4 year degree in 4 years versus 8 or 6. Time is money.

Heck no he doesnt help other than call me bad words when he gets mad. I did take 4 years of Latin in H.s. mainly because we had a really hot teacher. I did enjoy it and learnt a lot not sure how much I remember. A lot of Roman and Greek history which was really cool. I was even in the Latin club if you can imagine that.

That is very understandable. I speak spanish and a Lil bit of Latin and some german and Norwegian. All just because of family and where I have worked here in Albuquerque.
