Has anyone seen this one? I read the book after watching the movie about five years before. CRAZY movie. They had a son named "Egg" and Jodie Foster was in it... Weird things go on in this one...

I think U2 or at least Bono did the soundtrack...I did not see it though.

Probably not. I think the movie came out before the band was formed. It's really old.

I never heard of that one. Hotel New Hampshire was written by John Irving. He also wrote 153 Pound Marriage and A Prayer for Owen Meany. He's a great writer.

He's a crazy writer. He wrote that movie that starred the Spiderman guy, and the lived at an orphanage and picked apples in the summer.. I can't remember the title.

Is Charlize Theron in the apple movie you are talking about Alex?
MadMax

I think she was his girlfriend, or tried to be and she had to marry this guy who was going off to war. The guy who ran the orphanage was a ether huffing doctor that used to tell the kids, "Good night all you Princes of Maine, you Kings of New England."

OK, I heard of that, too. Did not see it. Toby McGuire gets on my nerves, though. That is who you meant, right?

That's him. It's probably his voice... It irritates me too. The story was really good though. Just like all his movies and books.

He is right up there with Jolie for wierdness. More so, I would say...He was good in Taps. And the Outsiders. But not even in the hot category. Never was. Objectively speaking, that is.
