View Full Version : MEXICAN WALLK OUT!!!!!!!!!

:schilder027: with the walk out the other day, I decided to open my big mouth and speak up. I hope I do not offend anyone here at the hangout, but since this is the political thread here we go.

During the Presidential term of Ronald Reagan, the problem of. immigration reform was addressed by allowing the Mexican illegals to sign up for amnesty and the Congress was to work to secure the Mexican border, but the Congress kept putting off the process of securing the border. This was not the first time that the Congress promised to do something but later conveniently forgot and used the money for their personal set-asides
That would guarantee the congressmen’s' reelection. The amnesty program was to be the only time that these illegals would be pardoned for their crimes. Needless to say it did not work because the Mexican borders were never secured to stop the invasion into this country.
September 11(9-11)changed it all and the security of this country became number one, but the Congress is dragging their feet in doing their constitutional duty. During
the 90's the invasion rapidly increased due to the lack of border patrolmen and Bush administration because wants to grant them an amnesty that he claims is not amnesty. The
people of this great country deserve better and are starting to demand their constitutional duty and stop the invasion of and destruction of our country. claimed that the southwest was their country and that the American Country did not own this territory. The Mexicans are saying that they are moving freely into their land
American people are the invaders. They claim that they are guaranteed the rights that we are guaranteed they are within the United States and they are due process because they have not committed any crime and are just in search of a job to earn money to maintain their family. They claim that they have the right to trespass on farmers' property and tear down the fences and trample the farmers' fields. They even claim that they can terrorize
the residents along the border without any fear of being harmed for their crimes - the worst that can happen to them is that they are returned to Mexico and they try to cross again.
These criminals have no respect for other people's property, National parks or territorial borders in their mass invasion into this economic engine called the United States.
At first they would come over a few at a time and work in sweatshops or hot fields all day for just a few dollars a day. They would show up at large parking lots like Lowe's
or Menard's and wait for people to offer them work in an attempt to earn money Now they have become emboldened and are getting factory jobs and buying their own homes and cars and have bank that are un-American in their banking practices .
These illegals are out there working with realtors and car dealers to get these homes and cars without the proper identification that should be needed to purchase these items.
These people are so emboldened that they are demonstrating out in the open, saying that they are not criminals, but these people have crossed our borders without the proper entry papers and have evaded police to get to larger cities like New York City, Chicago and even rural areas of our nation These criminals have been pumped groups of this country and know that the politicos are working to allow them to stay without any punishment at all. Most Americans believe that all of these protestors should be arrested and their papers checked for their accuracy' and verify that they are not forgeries. The workers of this great country need to stand up for their rights to get good-paying jobs here in the United States and not a hamburger-flipping job. We need to tell our elected officials at the Federal level that, we the people, want the borders sealed. and the illegal criminals picked up
and deported to the Southern Mexican border and dropped off there. The next thing is to Secure the border using a fencing system that is used on the 38th parallel between North and South Korea.

That is not offending to me but, a really good friend of mine is with the New Mexico Border Patrol and is one of the higher ups and I was talking to him and they are retraining all of the border patrolies so they know exactly what to do and when to do it. He had also told me that anyone who tries to cross the border illegally will be shot no questions asked and it will be justified.

I can see that going well. Oh look, there is a 5 year old kid traveling in cover of darkness with his mother and 84 year old grandmother. They are crossing the river. Here they come. Wait...Wait..Aim...Wait...Fire!

If the border patrols do act this way and I know they are just following orders this will surely create a WAR with us and Mexico. I wonder what our founding fathers and our ancestors would have thought if they came to America and were greeted by armed guards. The thing that makes curious is why this all of a sudden such a big issue, immigrants legal and illegal have been here forever.

Gee, a war with Mexico? They're still using flintlocks... And the only reason this is a big issue is because of 9/11 and terrorism. We have to control the border or anyone can get in. Not just Mexicans, but Iraqis, Syrians, etc.

Um how about our Canadian borders??? Where do you think the terrorist come across it isnt with the Mexicans. I agree Bridget big companies are at fault and need to be held accountable. I dont believe that illegals can get welfare. But on that note what about all the Americans that sit on their lazy as$es all day and would even think about working for a living and live off our tax dollars. At least the illegals are here.... To work.... The problems is that everyone in America thinks they are too good for those lower paying jobs that illegals do. Americans would not work for less than 5.00 per hour so naturally who do you think is going to get the jobs. I have a brother in law who refuses to work anywhere that wont pay him at least 12.00 per hour so where does he get his food um our taxes. He would rather make zero than say 8-9 per hour. There are way to many Americans with this mantality. I honestly hope they send all the Mexicans back so this economy can really see what it would be like. Not all illegals are criminals there is a ratio just as there is with anything. And another thing Mexicans arent taking all the white collar jobs in America they arent becoming CEO's they are taking the jobs that no one wants to do anyways. What we really need to wory about is the outsourcing of typical American jobs such as call centers, and customer service to overseas locations such as India they are making our money and not even putting any of it back into our economy.

Sorry for going on my soap box just some of my thoughts.

What a freaking hornets nest we seem to have stepped on. Yes, we have to control the Canadian border as well, but as you well know, there aren't a whole lot of canadians cutting holes in our fences to get here. I don't really think they lake us much to tell you the truth (mutual feeling.) We all seem to know of one guy here or there that's lazy and refuses to work, and that immigrants work for nothing, but tell me what's wrong with tightening up our borders and making those that have gained access to this country ILLEGALLY pay back taxes and penalties. They get citizenship afterward, what's the big deal. I have to pay a crap load to the government every year, as does everyone else on this site, so why should being an immigrant exempt you? I have to pay taxes in Mexico if I go, and I had to pay taxes and duties in BWI when I was there.

I think Bridget had the right of it on this issue.... it's not so much that illegals are coming over and taking away the tomato picking jobs at $4 an hour, it's that they get a free ride from our taxes. Their kids get educated, if they have to go to the emergency room public aid has to pick up the bill, etc.

And as far as companies not hiring illegals, it's just not going to stop. If a company can hire someone at half the wage and not give them benefits that is what they will do. It's almost the same thing as hiring through a temp agency like Manpower, except it's not legal. If I got hired to work at a company through Manpower, they keep a large portion of my check for "finding" me that job and "supporting my good work habits" (which is just watching some videotapes usually); but if a company hires an illegal they get to keep all that money from the difference in wages and benefits and they cut out the middle man (temp agency) all together. Even if we cracked down on companies that hired illegals, they would do it again shortly after the feds left.

I agree they should pay taxes not a problem if they do pay taxes they should get all the extras that come along with that. I am just tired of everyone saying they are taking our jobs... I work in an office on my computer (obviously) all day long. I know so many people that work in the lawn business that get temp visas for those months and then as soon as winter comes they are returned to Mexico. I guess eveyone I know is here legally and I am kind of sick of them all being lumped together.

Yeah, it's not the high-end office type jobs that illegals are taking.... it's more agricultural or landscaping - that kind of stuff. Honestly, would you want to pick tomatoes in Southern California all day long for $3 an hour? Or even $6 an hour? I wouldn't, and neither does the rest of America. That's why legal and illegal immigrants take those jobs. It still a better job than what they could get in Mexico.
The point is that there are legal ways to attain citizenship to this country. Why should we allow people that skirt these laws amnesty?

jarvisa

We shouldnt but how do you control it without brutal force?

So does that mean every Hispanic looking person should be harrassed for citizenship proof every time they go out in public. I know I would be severly annoyed if my husband had to do that as a law abiding citizen of this country that served his country.

MadMax
May 4th, 2006, 10:36
That was an exactly to Green Man's statement not Amy's. It may come to brute force, Amy. No one wants it to but if you are going to stand up for something, you have to take it the whole way.

If they hold the employer accountable for checking the status that would put a stop to some of this. The government needs to fine the employer for breaking the law.

jarvisa

Exactly they are empowering this problem that no other person has control over, there needs to be external labor audit performed and some of these issue can be solved without violating any Americans civil rights.

If we Amerians want to ensure that the laws of the land, the english language, the National anthem and even jobs stay the same. It's up to the billion or so American registered voters to get out on voting day, in Nov 2006, and voting day Nov 2008, and place your vote.
YES vote for either a Congressman or a Senator or even a President who will not give Amnesty to the 12 Million Illegal alieans and who will support protecting our borders where the real problem is located
