I just made a group called 3451
My profile says i'm not in any public groups. Does that mean that it's not public? And if so how do i make it so.
also, how do i change options and such for the group?

It may have to do with your Hangout Rank, Erik. Remember what I told you about that? It might be affecting the group thing.

so can i make mine public? it is a public group (anyone can join the group by going into the group and finding the join link). What you are looking at is something different. The "Public Groups" you are referring to are things like Author and Donator. The groups like the one you created are not listed there.

I'm a donator, too ... but I have my settings set to keep my donations private and they don't appear out there with everyone else's amounts. All you see is the 'Donator' button by my name. Recheck your options in your User CP.

Also, are you considering one of the groups for discussion like "Football" and stuff?

There is a group for Football. It encompasses college too.

Under User CP at the bottom it should show your groups.

It's the first option on the 4th tool bar down. The tool bars are different colors ... the first two are brown, the next is red (USMC INFO) and then the next smaller one is gray leading off with the "User CP" ... click that and you'll see your groups down on the bottom. They shuffle around as posts are added with the newest posts being the one on the left.
