No, I don't mean the drug. It has something to do with the Navy, a rank or somekind of a job specialty. I am not really sure, that is why I tried asking. there could be someone here who might know it.

The ABH refers to Aviation Boatswain’s which is the person who wears the Yellow Shirt on the Flight Deck who launches aircraft, , and on brings in hellos as the video shows , they are also trained to put out aircraft fires what we call crash and salvage.

v8403 is correct and the last numeral of 1 designates a First Class Petty Officer which equates to a military pay grade of E6.

Thank you V8, I was really hoping for you to come to the rescue, knowing you are from the USN.

And 84, for supplying the other missing parts :) At least I have now the slightest idea of what it is.

So if you're an ABH or Aviation Boatswain, are you affiliated with the Navy? or you are still a Marine and can be an ABH?

That is a Navy Rank. Lyn. MArines have similar positions, but on land.

If you listed your rank as an ABH1, then you are Navy.

So now that means, someone from the USMC with an email add of the Navy and with a rank of ABH1 attached to his name has changed branches, right?

Yes, it is confirmed that he is in the Navy now and is on board/deployment. We have just talked and we exchanged emails for the fast couple of days. He was the Marine from Iwakuni.

Aviation Boats 1st class, E.-6. like the person said a couple of post above, there normally working the flight deck on carriers, the most dangerous place you can be on a ship.
