Hi, all.

My name is Kathy, and I'm an 18 year old from Middle Tennessee. My boyfriend of nearly four years, Chad, has been discussing joining USMC for a long time now. I think I'm the only thing holding him back. I have numerous health problems that keep me in the hospital often, and honestly, the idea of him in USMC scares me to death.

I came here to try to find some advice on how to support him and learn about the life of a Marine.

Hi, Kathy.... Welcome aboard. As all before have said---We are glad that you joined us. Ask all the questions you have and most of us will answer them. ( Try to stop us. LOL ). Work with your boyfriend on his decisions, but don't force your opinion on him. You may regret it later. Ask questions so that you can talk to him with more knowledgable information. Micky
