hello all. i am the proud mom of a new marine freshly graduated 11/14/08. the time spent during family day and graduation was awesome.

just want to get to know the marine family and participate in a useful way. would love to have fun and make new friends, too.

Welcome to the hangout, suz! I am one of those PMM (Proud Marine Mom) to which Micky referred. There is nothing like the feeling you got watching your baby graduate as a Marine, is there?! The sense of accomplishment for yourself and your child is overwhelming. In the coming months, you will have questions. This is the best place I found on the net for answers. The founder, Bridget, has compiled more helpful info here than even the USMC site offers. The things you don't find answers for, the members will do their honest best to help find.
