It seems like a lot but take 2.2 percent and mutiply that by the amount paid to O-8's and below and then take 8.5 percent and multipy that by the number of officers filling those positions, they are really giving the majority of the money to the lower ranks. Now they probably should be giving such a big raise of General Officers but they are. There is no economically feasible way to give 3 million people an 8.5 percent pay increase in a given year.

Not right...you betcha! Gonna change? No way.

I am talking about the SNCOs and NCOs and non-Ncos.(I never liked calling them non-rates, they are Marines, too, DANG IT!)
