Hey! I'm Beth (aka: Shovelgrrrl), reporting for Duty. One or two of you might recognize me from one of the cigar forums, like C-bid, E-Herf or the Herf Hut. For the last year or so, my hobby has been sending cigars to the troops in the sand box. Of course, sending cigars also requires sending cutters and accessories, and then a person needs some packing material, and what makes better packing material to cushion cigars than stuff like snacks and candy?

I'm a retired San Diego police officer, and I'm into fly fishing, motorcycles, and of course, cigars. I'm hoping this site will help me keep in touch with friends I've made after they return home, and also help me meet some new folks. Thanks! -B

Hello Beth and welcome aboard the Hangout. It's nice to meet you and thank you immensely for the support you are showing our Troops! I can bet they enjoy every bit of the things you send them! I'll have to ask my son if he or any of his fellow comrades got any cigars while he was deployed. He just got back from Iraq on February 20th and will be home to visit in less then a week. You'll find everyone here to be friendly and a lot of fun to get to know. Join right in and enjoy:)

Thanks for the warm welcome! Another four big packages went out yesterday, with the usual goodies, snacks and cigars....and PEEPS. Because what's spring without sugary, sweet, bright yellow Peeps! HAHAHAHAHA. -B
