Well, Rob is now in phase 2 in MRP!! He can FINALLY work out again! They lost phone privilages due to a childish recruit, so he can't call me and let me know how his last check up went. :( He is only allowed to lift weights and get on the exersize bike, but hey, we are making it! Getting closer to going beck to training everyday!! I found out when he does get back to training he will only have 8-9 weeks left!!! :D I'm so happy! I thought (as did he) that he'd have to start over entirely! That's a load off my mind! He's really worried he will get hurt again when he goes back. He is now a scribe for the DI's in MRP. He may become the head scribe. He says it's not so bad and the DI's like him a bit more now. I get to talk to him on the phone every now and again so it helps tremendously!! He spends all day writing a letter to me (between all the other things he does!) So his letters are pretty random, but I love them!

:banghead:

I'm so sorry I haven't been on here in almost a month! Rob's previous graduation date was the 17th of this month and it's really hard knowing I STILL don't know when he's going back to training! This has got to be one of the hardest things I have ever had to go through! Let me tell ya being in labor for 21 hours was WAY easier than this! I was in hard labor (no resting between contractions) for 15 hours of that time! Damn that sucked, but not nearly as much as this! I'd go through that every day just to be with him right now! :(

I've missed you guys entirely too much! I promise I'll be better about getting on here more often! :grouphug: I love you guys!!!

Doc, Rob said you could write to him if you'd like...PM me and let me know!!

Welcome back, Kayla:) Glad to hear that Rob is making progress towards getting back into training. He will be picked up in a Company that is where he left off when he got hurt, when the time comes. Tell him to concentrate more on the end result of becoming a Marine, and not on whether he will get injured again! His injury is just a small obstacle and one that is better to have happened in Recruit training then out in the field in combat. Not too much longer and you'll be welcoming that new Marine home with open arms! Thanks for giving us an update on him and please let him know we're all rooting for him here!!

Yes welcome back.I was wondering how things were going.Good to hear Rob is back in training. It wont be long now.I know it seems like forever.
In all honesty his problems may reappear. Its very common in the Corps but it can be lived with.
Im glad to hear his morale is up and Im sure being back in training will certainly make his time go by much quicker.
Hang in there.Youll be seeing him soon.
Got a pm headed your way.
Doc out...

I just got a letter today in the mail telling me he's probably got 3-4 more weeks in MRP then back to training for 8-9 weeks! He has to work out at least 3 times a week (DI's making them track it) He wants to know if it's worth all of the crap he's going through. I tell him to remember the end result!! I can't wait to have him walk across the stage for graduation for me! He will be so handsome!!! Then we will get married!!! I'm so happy! I love him so much! He is most definately one of the best things to happen to me in my life (next to my son!) This forum is a great thing in my life too! You guys are the best! Thanks x a million!!! I love you!
