THE FOLLOWING IS OUR COMMUNITY RULES, TOS, & PRIVACY POLICY WHICH YOU AGREED TO ABIDE BY WHEN YOU REGISTERED WITH US:

COMMUNITY RULES

Registration to this community is free! We do insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed below:

1) Please make your post in the appropriate category. In other words if is news related please place it in the appropriate topic under current events.

2) If you post a news article, you MUST post the source and link to the article.

3) Do not SPAM the board. Doing so will cost you an immediate loss of membership and your name placed on our Spammers list.

4) To play the arcade you must make at least 2 posts per day and be in the Enlisted Group. Posting one liners just to get your post quota will result in your immediate banning.

5) Please try to stay on topic. If you are replying to a topic and after proof reading it you see that you have gone off topic, then please start a new thread.

6) USMC Hangout follows the laws put forth by the United States of America. All posts threatening crimes to yourself or others will result in a call to your local authorities and your immediate banning from the site.

7) Chat Rooms are only available to active members (those who post regularly within the forums and are in the Enlisted Group). You must be in the Enlisted group to use the chat rooms. See the ranks and groups structure below. We have to instill this as the chat rooms require a lot of bandwidth and load on the server. This is put into place to keep our site free to all our visitors.

8) Promotions of other sites are not allowed in here unless granted permission by the owner of USMC Hangout. If you have a link you would like to share, please add it to our link section.

9) THIS IS NOT A DATING SITE! This is not a dating site, so do not use it as one! Doing so will cause you to get an immediate ban without further notice.

10) Pornographic and/or provocative material is not allowed. If you are caught posting such items (either on your profile or within posts or anywhere else on the site) the item(s) will be removed and you will be warned. Should you do it again you will be banned. We are a family friendly site so please help us keep it that way!

11) Multiple accounts are not allowed here at USMC Hangout. Members who are found to have multiple accounts will have all their accounts banned from USMC Hangout permantly.

12) Posting one liners or posts that clearly are made to up your post count will cause an infraction to be placed against your account and could lead to you being banned from the site. These type of posts are not allowed

13) We will NOT delete accounts. This is for uniformity reasons. Please keep this in mind before registering for an account!!!!

14) Self promotion of any kind is not allowed and is considered SPAM. If you would like to link to your site you may do so in your profile. To have you site listed here on the site or in the forums you may add it to our link directory or purchase advertising.

You also understand that accounts cannot be deleted at this time. We can however, ban the account if you wish, which will set the account as inactive and no longer be usable.

You gain rank and permissions by making posts within the forums. The user groups give you additional rights over what you had in the previous group. The titles are awarded at each post increment.

When you get to each user group, more rights will open up to you on the site. User groups & the new abilities you get with each one:

Everyone (new features etc... that is not permission based):

-Can set your profile to be Public (viewable to everyone), Private (only registered users can see), or Friends (only those on your friends list can see your profile).
