Advice/Help: I want in the Marine Corps

ok give this a try. even though they will hate you. you can give this a try. write your congressman hopefully a republican. and explain your situation. say i know I'm a screw up bla bla bla I've done things in the past, yada yada and you want to serve your country as a marine and they wont take you with a tattoo that you removed. beg him to talk to the recruiters higher ups. if your at the end of the rope what have you got to loose. go meet the congressman go to his office to set up a meeting ,e mail him/her, call. the bad thing is marine brass hate politicians, but hey they threw the ball back to you. write a letter asking for a meeting if your willing to go through all the trouble to go to the congressman office the congressman may take you serious. then call your senator and do the same. they will try to throw the well what about the army crap at you cause they are lazy. know why you want the marines. learn some history and tell them about the marines try to get them to sign up with you. be honest. you cant bullsh@t a politician. if that don't work go to collage get some credits. that always looks good on paper. yes it will take time but go back with something that says hey despite my past i have something to offer you. and the credits will help with your cutting score when you get one. try to put a green weight's on your stack. good luck.

Hey where are you in michigan? Come to the Mt.Clemens office cause thats the one I go to! These guys are pretty good and ive seen alot of guys getting waivers for tattoo's when I was in Meps. and yea i really wouldn't think a tattoo on the chest would be bad. dunno maybe ill ask my recruiter.
