I have had good luck with my S&W 457 .45
Good gun shoots well. Just a little bit to small of a frame.Protecting Those That Defend America

You are? Or the gun is. The H7K is a BIG framed gun. I remember the first time I held it, the MK23, saying whoa!

The gun is small framed. I wish I was.

The MK 23? You must be a hell of a guy to consider that small framed. It had a 16 round capacity. It was crazy. My Paraordinance is big and it holds 14. I had it teflon'd too.

I still don't have one. Handgun that is. Not a .45, or any of the others mentioned.

I wouldn't recomment that one. You're a big guy so I would do a 45. You should get a 1911, but a newer model by Colt.

I was talking about my S&W 457 being small framed. It shoots well but the handle is to small for my hand.

Have you thought about replacing it or do you have a connection to it?

I have wanted a 1911 clone for some time now. I just have to find one that will not break the bank.

Sell that Smith and you should have plenty to work with. The clones range from about 450-3500 bucks. the top end being a Les Baer Custom.
