Hey every one =). so this sundays two weeks my boyfriends been in the marines. . im gettin by tho. I sent his letter out last friday , i was curious to as what days they get mail and when he'd get mine? and also when i should be receiving one from him. His parents got a postcard with his address the same week he left.

My wife got mail almost every day, then again, I wrote just about every night. We had mail call I think every other night or so. The best times were when the Heavies handed it out, In fact I can only remember the Senior only handing it out like 2 or 3 times.

My bf only got mail whenever his SDI handed it out so that was about every 3 days. I got a letter at least once a week, more if had the time to write.

This girl brought back some memories. The post-cards. Almost forgot about those. Think my mom might still have mine. I better check. If so I will scan it and let you see the old ones.

They probably havent changed much. From the information she had, looks like the same format.

He will get them a couple of time a week depending on what phase of trining they are in.. But send them daily!!! It is the best thing you can do for him.. Believe me he will love every second he is reading..And this may sound corny. but spray a perfume of yours that he likes on the letter portion so that when he opens it he can smell you.. I know whenever I was deployed my wife did that for me and for a moment I could close my eyes and feel her next to me..
