His parents, sister, grandparents and his entire family have been so proud of his willingness to serve our country. Chris had a pen pal in the US Army during Dessert Shield and Dessert Storm. He also had a retired military teacher in third grade. I believe that those facts, combined with the facts that his grandfather and great grandfather served in the US Navy during WWII, one uncle served in the US Navy and another uncle in the Marines during Viet Nam are the examples that have given him the pride in home and country and made him a true Patriot. Our heartfelt thanks to our son and all the other brave men and women who have served.
